Built for the work

Make market research less dependent on a single rank.

Bring estimated downloads, daily trends and competitor comparisons into your market research, with a clear distinction between modeled figures and first-party installs.

01

Benchmark a competitor set

Compare estimated totals and daily averages across selected apps in the same country, device and date range.

02

Separate spikes from a trend

Review the daily series alongside growth measures. Use changes as a reason to investigate launches, seasonality or acquisition activity.

03

Explore a planning scenario

Review the forecast against the historical series and its confidence bounds. Treat it as a scenario, not a guaranteed target.

The workflow

A consistent comparison starts with a consistent scope.

  1. Set the same market

Choose a device, country and date range before comparing apps. Keep those filters unchanged when interpreting relative performance.

  2. Compare selected apps

Select the competitor set, then read totals, daily averages, growth rates and the download trend together.

  3. Check the model context

Use the forecasting view to review historical patterns, momentum and uncertainty. Validate important decisions against first-party data where available.

A few important questions.

Are the download figures exact?

No. APPlyzer labels them as estimates from its proprietary estimator, based on ranking positions and market analysis.

Does the comparison show total market share?

No. The displayed share is relative to the apps selected for the comparison. It should not be described as share of the entire market.

Can I use a forecast as a guaranteed growth target?

No. A forecast extrapolates patterns from historical data. Use it as a planning input and consider its uncertainty alongside first-party data.
